Job Description
As an Online ESL Teacher, the post is required to provide standardized ESL lessons to Chinese students, ranging from very young kids to working adults, through the company's own online learning system. Teachers are expected to clock into the teaching website before class time and conduct all classes as reflected on their teaching schedule or class table.
As an Online ESL Teacher, you will also need to:
- Prepare for one-on-one online ESL classes.
- Teach ESL classes using the lesson materials provided.
- Correct the mispronunciations and grammar errors of students.
- Assess the learning progress of students.
- Abide by ACADSOC rules and regulations.
- Hit teaching goals and maintain good QA scores.
Minimum Qualifications
- English fluency with neutral accent
- Energetic, patient, responsible, and cheerful
- Preferably with
- TESOL, TEFL, CELTA, IELTS, TOEFL, and/or TOEIC certifications
- English degrees or majors
- Candidates with ESL and/or general teaching experience will also have an advantage.
- Working hours are from 1 to 10 pm, either on a Tues to Sat or Wed to Sun weekly shift
