Job Description

• Marketing Data Analyst serves a specialized role for structuring, tracking, measuring, visualizing, and analyzing the data essential to business operations like (including but not limited to) workforce planning, client success management, productivity and efficiency, and sales management.
• MDA also takes the lead in developing processes for effective data analysis and reporting. The role of MDA requires an understanding of both the short-term goals and long-term business strategy of an organization, the market data analyst can develop recommendations on how best to put data analytics to use for company growth.
• An MDA must have the ability to produce understandable and actionable reports gleaned from data. Interpreting data and reporting key findings are important strengths required in this role.

Responsibilities include:

• Takes charge of the data mining, and gathering through SalesForce and other tools available to the company for tracking.
• MDA is also responsible for Data cleaning and visualization for reporting purposes, making data a lot more understandable and will be highly appreciated by team managers and C-suites.

• Develop effective business intelligence strategies and analytics solutions when the need for a new metric or performance tracking arises.
• With close coordination and collaboration with the Marketing team, MDA will apply statistics and data modeling to gain actionable business insights and boost customer productivity and revenue.
• Keep abreast of industry best practices and policies when it comes to business analytics.
• Complete the following certification upskilling program/course within the next 6 months

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline or graduate degree
• Work experience as a Marketing Analyst or similar role
• with at least 1 year of experience in handling Google Analytics and Reporting
• In-depth understanding of SEM campaign strategies and SEO practices
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Deep knowledge of data warehousing, and mining
• Adequate knowledge of data collection methods (polls, focus groups, surveys etc)
• Working knowledge of CRM programs
• Strong analytical and critical thinking
• Experience with PPC campaigns
• Good knowledge of MS Excel
• Analytical abilities
