Job Description
- Write and maintain Python code/scripts for web and PDF data scraping.
- Build and update scraping tools using BeautifulSoup and ExtractTable API.
- Incorporate API libraries, reverse proxies, and Captcha solvers.
- Identify, label, and verify useful data, meeting scraping targets and ensuring accuracy.
- Troubleshoot data quality issues and monitor bugs in Jira.
- Collaborate with development teams for testing and respond to design and management requests.
Additional Knowledge (Beneficial):
- Familiarity with AWS (S3).
- Experience with Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum 1 year in a Data Scientist or Backend Developer role using Python.
- Technical aptitude and ability to quickly learn new software.
- Good knowledge of the Atlassian suite (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
- Fluent in English.
