Job Description
BuildZoom is a data company at heart. We ingest vast volumes of construction data and develop deep insights into construction trends. As an engineer on our data engineering team, you will work work on sophisticated data pipelines and applications to help accelerate BuildZoom’s rapid growth.
Our technologies include AWS, Linux, Python, MySQL, Postgres, and Redshift.
What you will do:
- Develop web crawlers and data processing applications.
- Overcome challenges related to advanced web crawling.
- Collaborate with your colleagues in Manila and San Francisco to improve the entire data pipeline.
- Build functionality for a web-based monitoring application with informative data visualizations.
- Deliver the data-content needed to power BuildZoom’s millions of user.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in CS or related experience
- Good English, written and verbal
- Energy, enthusiasm, ambition to grow, and a drive to succeed
- Interest in learning, teaching, and collaborating with colleagues
- Experience with Python and SQL would be a plus
