Loan Processing Officer | Discharges day shift

Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Process discharge requests in a timely and accurate manner
• Handle inquiries from solicitors, mortgage managers, and borrowers
• Respond to discharge-related calls and emails
• Send discharge instructions to panel solicitors and trustees
• Verify accuracy of processed requests and update operating system
• Monitor loan discharges and note information received from parties involved
• Meet daily SLAs, compliance, and quality standards
• Assist team members and other staff with settlement-related matters
• Provide payout figures upon approval confirmation
• Order security packets and loan agreements from trustees
• Post discharges-related payments and update masterlist
• Generate closing statements and send confirmation reports to Accounts

Knowledge, Qualifications and Competencies:

• 3+ year of banking/finance experience, preferably with Australian mortgage experience
• Knowledge of home loan discharges process
• Strong management skills, flexible schedule, and professional demeanor
• Excellent written communication skills, attention to detail, and analytical skills
• Ability to follow instructions, plan, organize, and multitask
• Proficiency in software applications (email, messaging)
• Self-motivated, knowledge-sharing mentality, and ability to work independently
• Bachelor's/College Degree in any field required
