Job Description
To assist management in the development, support and maintenance of the company’s website and associated applications and services
Principal Accountabilities:
- Development of websites, web applications and web services
- Development of mobile applications
- Development of frontend architecture and backend web modules
- Design and development of APIs
- Staying updated in the developments in web and mobile applications and programming languages
- Action other tasks or duties due to business exigencies or as deemed necessary by Management to achieve business goals
Minimum Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with frontend technologies (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Typescript, ReactJS)
- Strong hands-on experience with backend technologies (NodeJS, Express, Python)
- Strong hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases (MSQL, PostgreSQL, Redis)
- Strong hands-on experience both with REST APIs and GraphQL
- Experience in building user web applications across concerns of performance, scalability, maintainability, and security
- Strong hands-on experience in building mobile application using React Native and Expo
- Strong exposure in designing and developing responsive design websites
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (GitHub, Bitbucket and AzureDevOps)
- Experience in automated unit testing is a plus (Mocha, Jest, React Testing Library)
- Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug and Chrome inspector
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
