Materials Support Supervisor

Location: Nutribaked, Pajo Lapu-Lapu Cebu

• Job Summary:
• Nutribaked by Gardenia Philippines is looking for a Materials Support Supervisor to oversee the efficient and effective operation of our warehouse. This role involves planning, organizing, executing, and monitoring warehouse activities, including receiving, issuing, shipping, and inventory control. The ideal candidate will demonstrate leadership, problem-solving, and a commitment to operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement goals, objectives, policies, procedures, and work standards to maintain property accountability and inventory control.

• Schedule and coordinate timely material movements, ensuring proper stock rotation.
• Plan workloads, staffing, and facilities to meet operational requirements.
• Prepare detailed reports analyzing stock turnover, new materials received, shortages, overstock, and damaged goods.
• Troubleshoot and resolve inventory discrepancies for raw materials, packaging, and spare parts.
• Collaborate with accounting, purchasing, manufacturing, marketing, and auditing teams to ensure seamless operations and resolve receiving issues.
• Provide exceptional support to internal and external customers.
• Develop and coach employees to reach their fullest potential.
• Design budgets and procure special or uncommon materials.
• Maintain high inventory accuracy through cycle counts and monthly audits.
• Ensure accurate documentation and database records for inventory management.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Education and Training:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Management, Food Technology, or related field (preferred).
• Understanding of inventory movements in large-scale manufacturing operations.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Technical Requirements:
• Knowledge of warehouse and material-handling equipment (preferred).
• Familiarity with food safety standards, including HACCP, GMP, and SSOP.
• Experience in conducting technical training and seminars.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and general computer applications.
• Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Valid driver’s license (preferred).

• Qualifications:
• Minimum of 4 years of warehouse experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Knowledge of ISO, GMP, SSOP, 5S, and HACCP (advantageous).
• 4–5 years in a QA/QC role in the food industry, with 1 year of supervisory experience.
