Lead Full Stack Web Developer  

The main purpose of the lead full stack web developer is to enable the TechSol team to address both front end and back end website requirements of the clients. This role will enable the organization to be more competitive in terms of website offerings by exploring new and upcoming technologies while still providing support to our legacy services such as those websites built in wordpress. This role will also guide the junior and specialist developers to venture on new technologies and help keep track their daily deliverables.

• Design, Develop (front end and back end), Test, Deploy and Maintain mobile first websites and/or web apps
• Assure that Security and Data Privacy compliance and standards are met
• Assure SEO Compliance and Best Practices are met
• Support and Debug legacy Wordpress websites
• Mentor JR Full Stack Developer and Wordpress Specialist
• Provide code review
• Keep track of daily team deliverables
• Coordinate with key stakeholders such as Project Managers, UI/UX Designer, QA and client development team
• Perform other duties as assigned

Essential

Advanced knowledge and proficiency in the following fundamental front-end languages:

• HTML
• CSS
• JavaScript (including jQuery)
• PHP

Experience with JS Frameworks (AngularJS, ReactJS, NodeJS, VueJS)

Database technology (MySQL, MariaDB)

GIT

Knowledge of different E-commerce platforms and enablers:

• WooCommerce
• Magento
• Shopify

Knowledgeable in the following role requirements:

• WordPress and custom WordPress themes, as well as other CMS platforms
• Security and data privacy best practices and compliance
• SEO best practices and compliance, including Google standards

Familiarity with the following:

• API and JSON integration
• Unit testing and/or automated testing

Able to hold people accountable.

Able to manage multiple websites and web apps.

Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

Open to learning new web technologies.

Able to work with minimal supervision or independently.

BS/MS in IT, Computer Science, or any relevant field.

At least 5 years of full stack development experience, including 2 years in team lead/management roles.

With a portfolio for web and mobile apps.

Strong communication and teamwork skills, attention to detail, organizational proficiency and analytical mindset
