Site Reliability Engineer  

Hijra Engineering is the technology backbone of Hijra, the next-generation financial institution offering financial products adhering to the Islamic principles. We are looking for a passionate junior SRE with 2-3 years of experience to join our engineering team and help us maintain and improve the reliability, performance, and scalability of our systems. Responsibilities

• Maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot the infrastructure performance and availability
• Deploy and maintain CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments
• Participate in on-call rotations to respond to system incidents and outages
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address reliability and performance issues

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Linux/Unix systems
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, etc)
• Experience in operating Kubernetes
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation
• Excellent communication skills and collaborative attitude
• Keen on trying new technologies and taking up challenges

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous internship or work experience in a similar role.
• Experience in operating Infrastructure as Code such as Terraform.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus).
