Job Description

Position Overview

The Program Officer will support the Program Lead in executing and expanding the education loan program. This role focuses on building partnerships with educational institutions, recruiting eligible beneficiaries, and ensuring smooth program operations. The ideal candidate has prior experience in sales or partnership development, preferably in financial services, P2P lending, or a similar sector, with a passion for creating social impact.

Key Responsibilities

1. Partnership Development

Assist in identifying and onboarding educational institutions, training centers, and other stakeholders to partner with the program.

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing partners to ensure program sustainability.

Represent the organization at partner meetings, events, and outreach activities to promote the program.

2. Beneficiary Recruitment

Develop and execute strategies to attract eligible vocational and university students.

Conduct outreach campaigns, information sessions, and community engagements to raise awareness.

Support applicants throughout the loan application process, ensuring clarity and efficiency.

3. Sales and Outreach Support

Leverage sales and negotiation skills to identify opportunities for program expansion.

Act as a bridge between partners and the organization to drive program adoption and acceptance.

Monitor and achieve targets for beneficiary recruitment and partner onboarding.

4. Operational Support

Support the Program Lead in coordinating the loan disbursement process.

Track and report on loan applications, disbursements, and repayments in collaboration with the finance team.

Provide regular updates on beneficiaries' progress to the Program Lead.

5. Data Management and Reporting

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of partnerships, applications, and beneficiary data.

Prepare regular reports on program performance, including partner engagement metrics and beneficiary outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Social Work, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in sales, partnership development, or customer relationship management, preferably in financial services, P2P lending, or a similar business.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with diverse stakeholders.

  • Ability to adapt quickly to evolving program needs and priorities.
