Inventory Officer and Assistant  

1. Inventory Officer - Job Description:

• Monitors and maintains current inventory levels; processes purchasing orders as required; tracks orders and investigates problems.
• Records purchases, maintains database, performs physical count of inventory, and reconciles actual stock count to computer-generated reports.
• Work closely with other departments (e.g., logistics, warehouse, sales) to coordinate inventory needs and support business operations.
• Implement inventory management best practices, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and quality standards to improve efficiency and accuracy in inventory control processes.
• Train and supervise inventory staff, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure compliance with inventory management policies and procedures.
• Performs routine clerical duties, including data entry, answering telephones, and assisting customers.
• Processes and documents return as required following established procedures

2. ​​​​​​​Inventory Assistant - Job Description:

• To assist the inventory officer with inventory management
• Taking orders for inventory, recording things that are received and removed from stock, and physically transferring merchandise from the inventory room to the sales floor and back again.
• Monitoring inventory levels and notifying supervisors when supplies are running low.
• Collaborating with team members to address inventory-related issues.
• Participate in regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies between physical stock and inventory records.

1. Inventory Officer - Qualifications:

• A graduate of B.S. Accountancy or any Business Course
• With 3 years and above work experience in Inventory Reconciliation
• Proven experience in inventory management, stock control, or warehouse operations, preferably in a manufacturing, retail, or distribution environment.
• Knowledgeable in the use of Inventory Software Tools
• Has good interpersonal, organization and critical thinking skills

2. Inventory Assistant - Qualifications

• A graduate of B.S. Accountancy or any Business Course
• With at least 1-2 years work experience in Inventory Reconciliation
• Proven experience in inventory management, stock control, or warehouse operations, preferably in a manufacturing, retail, or distribution environment.
• Knowledgeable in the use of Inventory Software Tools
• Has good interpersonal, organization and critical thinking skills
