As a Junior Discord Community Manager, you will assist in managing and growing our brand's presence on Discord by fostering engagement, facilitating discussions, and ensuring a positive and inclusive community environment. What are your responsibilities?

• Assist in managing and moderating our brand's presence on Discord, ensuring compliance with community guidelines and policies
• Engage with community members by responding to messages, questions, and concerns in a timely and friendly manner
• Facilitate discussions and encourage community participation by initiating and organizing events, contests, and conversations
• Monitor and moderate chat channels to ensure a positive and respectful environment for all community members
• Collaborate with the Senior Discord Community Manager and internal teams to gather insights and provide feedback on community sentiment and trends
• Stay updated on Discord's features, updates, and best practices to ensure effective community management
• Assist in implementing and enforcing community guidelines and rules to maintain a welcoming and inclusive community space
• Analyze community feedback and metrics to provide insights and suggestions for improving community engagement and satisfaction

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a friendly and approachable tone
• Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple conversations and tasks simultaneously
• Familiarity with Discord's platform, features, and moderation tools
• Basic understanding of community management principles and best practices
• Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations and handle conflicts with empathy and diplomacy
• Ability to take direction and work collaboratively with the Senior Discord Community Manager and other team members
• Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic community environment
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
