Job Description

Job Title: Training Assistant

Job Summary:

The Training Assistant will work closely with the Training Manager to organize and coordinate training programs for employees. The assistant will support the delivery of training sessions through administrative, logistical, and operational support. Additionally, the Training Assistant will keep records of employee training, track progress, and provide reports to the Training Manager as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development of training programs and materials
  • Coordinate logistics for training sessions, including room bookings, audiovisual equipment, and catering
  • Manage participant registration and attendance records
  • Prepare training materials, such as handouts, presentations, and training manuals
  • Provide technical support during training sessions, including setting up and troubleshooting equipment as needed
  • Assist employees with online learning management systems, including course registration and completion tracking
  • Update training records and reports, and manage training data for employee records
  • Continuously provide feedback to the Training Manager on program effectiveness and areas for improvement
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Training Manager

Minimum Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • At least one year of experience in training, development or related field
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining records and reports
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
  • Proficient in various office tools including Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint and Google Suite
  • Strong analytical and planning skills;
  • Good communication and presentation skills;
  • Excellent problem-solving skills;
