We are looking for new team members to help us curate our logo library into the best in the market. We’re on the hunt for a talented graphic designer with a passion for logo design and strong copywriting skills to help us curate and grow our logo library.
This role requires a creative and organized individual who works well in a team and is looking to use their logo design skills to create new logos, curate logo collections, and write stunning copy to sell designs to customers. The role is focused on logo creation, curation, and retailing of our logo inventory. A strong visual eye is a must!
Responsibilities:
- Curate logo stock to sell in the Maker
- Edit and enhance existing inventory including colors, text, and taglines
- Use reverse image search (RIS) tools to review the logo for stock/clip art elements
- Remove logos that have suspected or confirmed copyright issues from the library
- IP management and quality control
- Design new logos - Create new font or text-based logos to increase the proportion of owned logos
- Design new logos - Create vector-based logos to increase the proportion of owned logos
- Copywriting - add relevant tags to help customers find the logos on Google and to surface logos on the website
- Copywriting - write short logo descriptions and page descriptions for landing pages
- Create new tagged pages with relevant high-quality designs
- Iterate and optimize the existing logo library
This is temporary work from home role because of the pandemic.
Minimum Qualifications
- Graphic design degree and or strong work experience designing logos is essential
- Keen goal setter, who is comfortable setting goals and achieving KPIs and targets
- Self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively in a team
- Strong, confident level of business English expected for editing logos and SEO
- Copywriting skills for tagging logos and writing page descriptions
- Knowledge of graphic design trends
- Comfortable using Adobe Illustrator and our admin platform to fix and create logos
- Fast learner of our systems and processes
- Comfortable working in Google suite products and messaging apps like Slack
