Job Description
To lead the over-all implementation of the Disaster Law Programme of the Philippine Red Cross (PRC) through the Disaster Management Services in partnership with the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent (IFRC)
- Manage the project monitoring and activities in accordance with the administrative and financial policies taking into account the collaborative interest of the donor agencies
- Coordinate with the relevant staff and support services at the National Headquarters to ensure the mainstreaming of the Disaster Law Advocacy
- Conduct research on the policy questions related to Disaster Risk Management and the auxiliary role of the Philippine Red Cross
- Provide direction and support necessary to the project team staff or chapter focal point
- Prepare reports on progress and finances are required by the PRC Chapters, National Headquarters, and the donor agencies
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Development Studies, Environmental Science or related courses
- Minimum of 3 years' work experience in program/project management and/or engagement in developmental sector
- Experience as a Philippine Red Cross staff member or volunteer preferred
