Job Description
As a LVL 99 Talent Manager, your primary responsibility is to grow and hit the business objectives of the company. Your role is to represent and promote talents, KOLs, artists, performers, or creative professionals to secure opportunities and contracts in the gaming and entertainment industry. You will act as the intermediary between the talent and potential partnerships and negotiating deals for your clients. Along with managing talent's careers, you will actively engage in sales activities to attract new clients and expand the agency's roster.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Talent Representation:
- Identify and recruit talented individuals in various creative fields, such as actors, musicians, models, writers, and more.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their career goals, strengths, and weaknesses.
- Advise and guide talent on career decisions, including project choices, branding, and marketability.
2. Sales and Business Development:
- Proactively seek out new talent and build a diverse roster by attending events, auditions, showcases, and networking within the industry.
- Pitch and promote clients to casting directors, producers, advertising agencies, and other potential partnerships.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for talent in various projects, productions, endorsements, and collaborations.
- Negotiate contracts, fees, and terms on behalf of clients, ensuring they receive favorable deals.
- Monitor and track talent's success metrics, such as social media engagement.
- Assist with the execution of projects and development of longterm career plans for talents.
3. Marketing and Branding:
- Collaborate with talent and their teams to create and execute marketing strategies to enhance their visibility and reputation.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of contacts, including industry professionals and potential partnerships.
4. Industry Knowledge:
- Stay upto-date with industry trends, market demands, and emerging opportunities.
- Attend industry events, workshops, and seminars to expand knowledge and foster professional relationships.
5. Legal and Ethical Compliance:
- Ensure all talent contracts adhere to legal regulations and ethical standards.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience as a Talent Agent or in a related sales role within the gaming and entertainment industry.
- In-depth knowledge of the gaming and entertainment industry, including key players, casting processes, and market trends.
- Strong negotiation and sales skills, with the ability to close deals effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to interact with diverse talent and industry professionals.
- Familiarity with talent marketing and branding strategies.
- Highly organized, with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to a dynamic environment.
