Senior Regulatory Officer *Fixed Term  

As a Senior Regulatory Officer, you will review/recommend new products, projects, and services of the Bank covering theBsp Reporting Disbursement, etc).

• Review/recommends policies and procedures, process flows, product manuals of the Bank’s new/variant products and services covering the required accounting entries and reports
• Proactively identifies potential accounting treatments for new or unique transactions (e.g., swaps, derivatives, etc.) using Pfrs accounting policies and explains the impact on the business
• Prepares/reviews accounting memos for complex accounting issues
• Reviews/recommends new policies and changes applicable to financial controls, financial and regulatory reports as applicable
• Conduct/facilitate validation of system testing and ensures that accounting entries are properly mapped
• Reviews risks and Controls related to new systems, change requests, and system enhancements as documented in the Project’s Risk and Control Assessments particularly but not limited to accounting and tax risks

• Bachelor’s or college degree holder
• At least 5 to 10 years of relevant experience, with exposure on the following: Product Reviews, Banking Products, Accounting and Finance Functions, and/or Regulatory reporting (BSP, SEC)
• Must be up to date with Philippine Accounting Standards, Auditing Standards, and Philippine Financial Reporting Standards
• Must have significant experience in designing and implementing process improvements and controls and has the ability to interpret complex financial information, translating that information into business planning, processes and risk management
• Has a keen eye for details, works comfortably in a highly collaborative setting and has an ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
• Able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and external parties
• Must be willing to work on a fixed term contract until May 2026
