Job Description
Job Summary:
The HR Sr. Specialist is responsible for managing various HR including organization development, performance management, learning and development, employee relations, and HR compliance. This role supports the effective implementation and improvement of HR processes and policies to support the organization's goals and objectives.
Organization Development
- Assists in organizational assessments to diagnose gaps in retention, engagement, organizational effectiveness and health
- Recommends strategies and initiatives to address the identified organizational issues
- Leads execution of change management initiatives ensuring successful implementation of organization-wide changes
- Implements changes to the organizational structure ensuring alignment with organization’s goals and strategies and optimization of human resources
- Ensures that organizational chart and job descriptions are updated
Performance Management
- Plans and implements the performance management cycle, ensuring timely communications and support
- Conducts enablement sessions to engage and equip different role-takers in actively participating in the performance management activities
- Recommends enhancements to the performance management process
Learning and Development
- Strategize on how to best align the business success and employee development.
- Identifies training needs and develops training plans.
- Facilitates or coordinates learning sessions or training activities
- Designs training programs to address the knowledge and skills gap in the organization
- Evaluates the effectiveness of training programs and makes recommendations for improvement.
Employee Relations
- Authors and supports implementation of HR policies and procedures including enforcing sanctions for violations
- Partners with the leaders in enforcing employee disciplinary action
- Identifies and leads programs that promote workplace health and safety or enhance employee engagement.
- Establishes proactive measures to mitigate conflict between employees or between employees and supervisors such as leading training sessions on conflict resolution; assists in conflict resolution as applicable.
HR Compliance
- Ensures compliance on government regulations
Data Analysis & Continuous Improvement
- Conducts data analysis and provides insights and recommendations to support HR decision-making.
- Ensures that existing HR processes are documented and updates are reflected accordingly.
- Leads process improvement initiatives to enhance HR efficiency and effectiveness.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology/ Human Resource Management / Business or any related field.
- Has 2-3 years experience in HR and with background on recruitment, compensation and benefits, performance management, employee relations, and training.
- Well-adept in using HR systems and other related software.
- Has good analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, able to effectively engage or deal with people across teams or levels
- Adaptable and thrives in a fast-paced and changing environment.
