Offpage SEO Link Building Specialist  

We’re searching for a skilled Off-page SEO / Link Building Specialist to join our award-winning digital agency. Reporting directly to our SEO Team Lead, this is the perfect opportunity for an experienced SEO expert to make their mark in one of our fastest-growing departments.

You’ll be a problem-solver and analytical thinker with a track record of going above and beyond to make our clients more searchable and successful.

As an Off-page SEO / Link Building Specialist, you will be in charge of contacting bloggers, influencers, and website owners to create and maintain business partnerships. In turn, these relationships will positively impact organic ranking and drive profits for our clients.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Support the SEO Team (and account managers) to provide clients with off-page and link-building strategies and recommendations.
• Perform keyword research in coordination with client business objectives.
• Contribute to developing the link-building strategy to improve SEO and search engine ranking.
• Identify and acquire backlink opportunities to increase website traffic.
• Collaborate with other SEO and marketing team members to ensure the consistency of our online marketing efforts.
• Interact with outside vendors to build backlinks to our website and implement our link-building strategy.
• Contribute to the successful implementation of SEO and digital marketing campaigns by managing third-party service providers.
• Find new link opportunities by using the latest search techniques and conducting a competitor backlink analysis.
• Build, monitor, and maintain healthy links by keeping track of a backlink profile.
• Conducting a content audit to identify linkable potentials.
• Perform and track outreach through social, email, and telephone.
• Monitor and report on link-building efficiency and results.
• Research and test new digital PR and link-building tactics.
• Regularly research relevant link-building opportunities to increase project exposure on the web.
• Outreach to and collaborate with influencers, journalists, website owners/admins, and bloggers to interest them in our brand and provide reliable backlinks.
• Manage guest-post tasks for content writers.
• Research potential websites and people for outreach.
• Use web-based tools to submit multiple business listings (citations).
• Monitor the status of submitted citations.
• Keep pace with SEO, search engine, social media, and internet marketing industry trends and developments.
• Create Report summaries with analysis on ranking performance based on relevant information.
• Perform other tasks that may be required to improve ranking performance.

We want you to have​:

• 1+ years experience in a link-building role, preferably on the agency side.
• Comprehensive experience with SEO industry programs and analytics packages, including GA4, Screaming Frog, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, and various rank-tracking/campaign monitoring tools.
• Ability to negotiate and maintain good relationships with publishers and third-party site owners.
• Comfortable analyzing high volumes of data.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite of tools (Excel, Word, Powerpoint).
• Proven experience planning and implementing backlink campaigns.
