What you’ll do:

• Responsible for developing and/or engineering the end-to-end features of a system, from user experience to backend code.
• Utilize development skills to deliver innovative solutions that help our clients improve the services they provide.
• Leverage new technologies that can be applied to solve challenging business problems with a cloud first and agile mindset.
• Pickup and kick-off cards with leads to understand the task, get all the required clarification done and propose alternative solutions.
• Assess and implement new changes in good quality and with test covered.
• Showcase and review the new changes together with team members.
• Actively work with other development and QA members to solve challenges.
• Able to provide leadership, guidance, training and mentoring to other team members.
• Carry out feasibility studies and impact analysis for new feature.
• Pro-actively contribute innovative ideas for improvements.
• Evaluate, select and formulate best solution for technical spike cards.
• Support production environment and attend the escalated issues if required.
• Frontend/ Full-stack Developer Core Technical Skillset: React for frontend, Java/ Java Spring Boot full-stack developer. The developer will be part of an agile development team that is responsible for taking functional/ technical design and perform build and testing of the software by utilizing his/ her core technical skillset.
• What to Expect: Work in an agile development team to deliver high quality software applications Adopt proven software engineering practices like pair programming, code reviews, test-driven development. As a more experienced engineer, you will additionally be expected to lead conversations on solutioning and systems design, establish best practices and mentor other engineers in the team.

Here’s what you’ll need:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Information Systems or other related courses. Undergraduates are welcome to apply.
• Minimum of 2 years of work experience in Java Standard Edition
• Knowledgeable in software development design patterns
• Willing to be upskilled/trained in Java (Java EE, Spring App, Spring Boot or Node.js)
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodology and practices.
• Strong communication skills to work with clients and counterparts
• Familiarity with common design patterns and an understanding of how they can be applied to software development.
• Basic debugging and optimization skills
• Able to read UML Diagram: use case, activity, sequence etc.
• Experience in using IDEs such as Eclipse, IntelliJ
• Basic understanding of code versioning tools such as Git and collaboration tools (confluence, JIRA)
