UI/UX Designer  

This position is responsible for ensuring that the ‘user experience’ for individuals using the company website and applications is as efficient, effective, and seamless as possible. It will be involved in the design of digital projects of process owners across the group.

Responsibilities include the ff:

• Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product and process owners, other designers, product design and development teams, business analysts, engineers and project managers
• Conduct and lead user journey mapping sessions and design thinking sessions as part of building and iterating AP user journeys
• Propose and illustrate range of visual concepts and design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
• Provide guidance on digital user experience and user interaction interfaces
• Develop UI mockups, prototypes, wireframes, and user flows that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like using specialist tools such as Axure, InVision, Marvel, OmniGraffle, Visio and Sketch, and Adobe product suite or equivalent
• Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)
• Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness, adoption)
• Conduct diligence studies on overall AP digital channel experience in terms of integration, cohesion, and continuity
• Conduct learning sessions / workshops for stakeholders
• Identify areas for improvement such as
  - redesigning websites to make them more responsive
  - redesigning or creating mobile apps that are easy to use and configured appropriately for smartphones and tablets
• Conduct usability sessions and user feedback

• 2-3 years of UI/UX Designer or similar role
• Bachelor's degree in any related course
• Master's degree, a plus
• Knowledgeable on User Journey Mapping & Design Thinking Methods
• Strong analytical and planning skills;
• Good communication and presentation skills;
• Excellent problem-solving skills;
