Operations Team Lead for Social Media

Your Role:
The TL oversees the production process, from the creation, development, and delivery of projects for the Social Media Team. They act as a liaison between the production floor and managers. Part of the TL’s task is to monitor the SLAs, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to client requirements. They are also responsible for daily administrative tasks such as creating reports as well as attendance and behavioral monitoring. Apart from managing the production, they also manage the team members’ performance through mentoring and coaching. The TL also works hand in hand with the L&D partner in the implementation of New Hire Training curriculum.

What you will do:

• Checking and proofreading to ensure all completed copywriting orders comply with industry standards and client requirements
• Prioritizing orders in the production queue and assigning them among the team as necessary
• Documentation of critical incidents regarding an order, client requests, and information that may also need to be communicated to the client during the shift
• Working around internal processes and inventing new ways of doing production work to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Mentoring, teaching, motivating, and continuously giving feedback to new hires, especially in the areas of client specifications, technical skills, writing, workflow strategy, and new production processes whenever necessary.
• As needed, or in the absence of an L&D partner, provide training and guidance to new hires on the production floor.
• Regularly communicating with internal and external clients using email, voice or video calls, and Skype to provide status updates on pages in an efficient and professional manner whenever the need arises
• Determining whether to escalate a client concern to managers and being able to quickly decide on solutions when problems in production arise.
• The continuous monitoring of all clients’ Service Level Agreements (SLA) and making sure that the said agreements are met during every shift

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communication Arts, Mass Communication, or related
• disciplines
• Minimum of 2 years experience in leading a team of content creators (copywriter, copy editor, Social Media Associates, or SEO Associates)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with other teams to meet the accuracy and delivery targets
• Excellent organizational skills and multitasking ability
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
• Amenable to work in the night shift and during Philippine Holidays
