Binhi English Literacy Foundation, Inc. - CHED IRSE Grants

BINHI English Literacy Foundation Inc. is an NGO founded in Manila in 2008 to help out-of-school children and students who are at risk of not completing their primary education because of the absence of learning support in their homes and their communities. The Binhi English Literacy Program is an intervention tool which aims to improve their reading and comprehension skills through learning kits inspired by proven teaching methodologies and recruiting and training public school teachers and community-based volunteers as teachers. Thus, achieving its vision of “Every Filipino Child in school and learning well.” Binhi is accredited under the DepEd Adopt-A-School-Program and now being implemented in public elementary schools in Quezon City, Manila City, Paranaque City and Canlubang, Laguna.
