Front End Developer  

About the role

CoreData is seeking a detail-oriented and self-directed Front End Developer who will play a key role in developing and maintaining software for CoreData’s digital capabilities.

This Manila-based full-time role is best suited to candidates with 5+ years of production internet application experience

Working with a team in Manila and supporting client managers in Australia, London and Boston, you will have the opportunity to be part of the exciting next phase of CoreData, building new research technologies

You are naturally detail-oriented and have a high sense of confidentiality. Motivated and passionate, you relish working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment and are comfortable delivering to tight deadlines.

You enjoy dealing with a range of stakeholders and multi-tasking across client projects, demonstrate a willingness to learn and have a keen desire to progress your career.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll join the team develops and maintains all of CoreData’s digital capabilities. This involves:

• Developing and maintaining software for CoreData’s digital capabilities
• Developing interfaces for CoreData’s databases
• Improving CoreData’s existing survey and content management systems

What you’ll bring to the role

• 5+ years of production internet application experience
• Computer Science or Electrical Engineering Degree or 7 years of applicable experience
• Solid understanding of web development
• Experience in shipping production software in a team
• Deep experience with the following technologies and platforms:
  • HTML, CSS
  • React.js & Typescript
• Desire to live and work in Manila
