Covenant Community Service Cooperative The Covenant Community Service Cooperative works to provide local communities with a labor force trained and equipped with the skills required for deployment in construction and site development projects. The cooperative prepares its members to acquire these skills, quality for jobs, cultivate savings consciousness, and provide decent shelter, food, and education for their families. Its core programs are the following: Professional Staff Services Program This programs aims to provide professional service support, including the supply of skilled and semi-skiloled workers to the various ministries of CCT, construction and allied services of CCT, and other development projects. Activities include staff support services, construction manpower supply, skills training and development in collaboration with the CCT Training and Development Institute, government agencies, and non-government organizations. Workers Guild Development Program CCSC’s Workers Guild Development Program aims to organize six workers’ guilds composed of 30 skilled workers per guild for a total of 180 skilled workers initially. In pursuit of this objective, the SIPAG or SIKHAY SA PAGGAWA Project was launched as a joint venture project among CCT, the Department of Trade and Industry, Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), and Alagad Party List. More skilled workers will be encouraged to join once the guild-enterprise is fully functional. All skilled workers are expected to earn an average gross monthly income of from PHP7,000 to PHP9,000 for the duration of the guided transactions of the guild-enterprises. Enterprise Development Program This comprises the second component of the Sipag Project wherein workers are trained in entrepreneurship, cooperativism, project proposal preparation, green technologies, and leadership. The aim is to turn the guild-enterprises into full blown business enterprises that generate employment under construction projects with market clients. Consultancy Services CCSC’s Consultancy Services offers individuals and other institutions expert consultancies on cooperative development for their human resources.
