Procurement and Logistics Officer  

Take charge of our purchasing and logistics operations. Your role will be crucial in managing supplier relationships, coordinating procurement activities, and ensuring timely delivery of materials. If you have experience in logistics and supply chain management, we want you on our team!

1. Purchasing
   • Handle all purchasing requirements for construction materials, equipment, and services.
   • Manage and oversee all receipt purchases, ensuring accurate documentation and verification of received goods.
   • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating quotations and pricing to secure the best value for the company.
   • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry standards in all purchasing activities.
     
     
2. Logistics Coordination
   • Facilitate efficient routing of all logistics transactions and address related concerns.
   • Coordinate with shipping and logistics partners to ensure timely delivery of construction materials and equipment to job sites.
   • Track deliveries and resolve any issues related to transportation delays or discrepancies.
   • Optimize logistics processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs, focusing on the unique needs of construction projects.
     
     
3. Asset Inventory Management
   • Oversee the handling of asset inventories, ensuring accurate tracking and record-keeping of construction tools and equipment.
   • Conduct regular audits of physical assets to verify inventory levels and maintain accurate asset registers.
   • Implement inventory control procedures to safeguard assets and minimize losses.
   • Coordinate with project managers to ensure proper allocation, utilization, and maintenance of company assets across job sites.
   • Monitor inventory levels and forecast purchasing needs to prevent shortages and manage surplus inventory effectively.

• Bachelor’s degree graduate.
• Experience in purchasing and logistics within the construction industry is a plus.
• Communication skills, attention to detail, organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage vendor relationships effectively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
