Data Management Intern  

The Data Management Intern will play an integral role in supporting our Data and Analytics team by assisting in the organization, cleaning, testing, and management of data across multiple platforms. This internship is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in data management and analytics, with a specific focus on data cleaning, testing, analysis, and importing data from various formats (e.g., CSV, Excel, API). You will work closely with the team to help ensure the data used across the organization is accurate, accessible, and optimized for decision-making.

The Role:

• Assist in structuring datasets for easy access, analysis, and reporting, ensuring data is well-organized and properly classified.
• Perform data cleaning tasks, such as removing duplicates, correcting errors, and handling missing values to ensure high data quality.
• Input data from multiple sources into internal databases and ensure regular updates and maintenance for accuracy and completeness.
• Help identify patterns or issues in data and collaborate with the team to apply corrective measures that improve data integrity and usability.
• Collaborate with other teams to support data-related initiatives and ensure data consistency across systems.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Within 12 months of completing a bachelor’s degree in the areas of Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics, and Data Analytics. However, we will consider other degrees if you have a strong interest and leaning towards technology.

Internship Hours

• Can commit to a minimum of 480 hours up to a maximum of 960 hours of internship.

Skills and Knowledge:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to handle data testing, data analyzing, and data cleaning
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and planning skills.
• A keen eye for detail with the ability to spot inconsistencies and errors in large datasets.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Resilient, energetic, and willing to learn, with a collaborative attitude.
• Self-motivated and able to manage tasks independently while staying focused on deadlines.

Work Setup:

• Willingness to render internship in an office-based setup located in Ortigas Center, Pasig City

Priority for Academic Requirement:

• Internships fulfilling academic requirements are prioritized.
• Students must have the necessary internship requirements ready.
