Deskripsi Pekerjaan
- Proofread, copyedit, and substantially edit human-translated and postedit AI-translated English documents to correct errors in content and style;
- Evaluate the quality of AI translation based on standards set by the team;
- Verify the validity of content and translation by fact-checking and using standard reference sources;
- Comply with strict publication standards, clients’ specifications, deadlines, and other SOPs;
- Ensure adherence to different style guides, including the company’s in-house style guide;
- Lead and participate in the team’s training on editing matters and other topics relevant to the team;
- Assist in the achievement of assigned tasks to contribute to the team’s annual goals;
- Collaborate with other editors, project managers, and colleagues from both the Philippine and Korea offices to ensure the successful completion of each project; and
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Kualifikasi Minimum
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
- Background includes editing for academic or other professional purposes
- Ability to work independently and manage a high volume of work without much supervision
- Availability to work overtime when necessary (Subject to the equivalent remuneration)
- Amenable to a hybrid work setup, with stable Internet connection and a reliable PC or laptop that would allow for seamless operations during remote work
- People with a minimum of three years of professional editing experience preferred
