Deskripsi Pekerjaan

This position involves selling software, specifically software as a service (SaaS), and media reports to corporate clients. The target audience for the products includes corporate communications managers, public relations and public affairs officers, and occasionally marketing leaders. It is important to have connections within medium and large corporations since they are our main clients. Your primary responsibility will be to generate a large number of leads in preparation for the peak sales season by establishing and nurturing corporate relationships.

The Business Development Specialist's daily responsibilities include lead generation, initiating relationships from scratch, and delivering product presentations effectively to prospects. Additionally, they are tasked with attending networking and industry events, creating compelling client presentations, and facilitating client meetings.

Core Tasks
● Lead Generation: Identify and generate new business opportunities through various
channels, including online research, networking, and outreach.
● Prospecting: Conduct outreach to potential clients through cold calls, emails, and other communication methods to introduce the SaaS products and services.
● Relationship Building: Cultivate and nurture relationships with key decision-makers,
influencers, and stakeholders in target industries.
● Product Presentation: Deliver effective presentations to showcase the features, benefits, and value proposition of the SaaS solutions to potential clients.
● Client Needs Analysis: Understand the unique needs and challenges of potential clients, conducting needs analysis to tailor the SaaS offerings to meet their specific
requirements.
● Consultative Selling: Adopt a consultative approach to sales, focusing on understanding client pain points and proposing customized SaaS solutions as value-driven answers.
● Proposal Development: Create and present proposals that outline the SaaS offerings,
pricing, and terms in alignment with client needs and expectations.
● Contract Negotiation: Engage in negotiations with clients to finalize contractual
agreements, ensuring terms are mutually beneficial and align with company objectives.
● Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to adjust sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
● Networking: Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to build
relationships, raise awareness of the SaaS brand, and generate leads.
● Collaboration with Marketing: Work closely with the marketing team to align sales efforts with marketing campaigns, ensuring a consistent and effective message.
● Pipeline Management: Manage and update the sales pipeline, tracking leads from
initiation to closure, and providing regular reports on progress.
● Customer Feedback Collection: Gather feedback from clients to understand their
satisfaction levels, identify areas for improvement, and relay insights to relevant teams.
● Training and Product Knowledge: Stay well-versed in the features and capabilities of the SaaS products, ensuring a comprehensive understanding to address client inquiries and concerns.
● Achieve Sales Targets: Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets set by the
organization.

Kualifikasi Minimum

● A minimum of three years of Sales or Business Development experience is required,
preferably in the technology sector, showcasing a proven track record of consistently
meeting targets.
● Proficiency in leveraging social media platforms and other channels for business
development communication strategies is essential.
● Exceptional and professional presentation and communication skills are a must.
● The ability to establish relationships with managers and business leaders is a key
capacity for success in this role.
