Mid Back End Developer  

We are seeking a Mid-Level Back-End Developer with 3-5 years of experience to join our dynamic team. You will work closely with the Back-End Lead, Infrastructure Team, and Project Teams to help build, optimize, and maintain our back-end infrastructure. You will play a key role in streamlining the development pipeline, ensuring seamless integration, and maintaining high levels of performance, security, and scalability in our systems.

Key Responsibilities:

DevOps Integration & Automation: Collaborate with the Infrastructure Team to automate DevOps pipelines, manage CI/CD cycles, and ensure smooth application performance monitoring. Support continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) processes, infrastructure, and configuration management.

Back-End Development: Write and maintain clean, efficient, and scalable code for server-side logic. Work with APIs, including RESTful APIs and JSON, to ensure seamless integration of various components. Oversee code releases and deployments, ensuring minimal disruptions in production.

Database Management & Configuration: Design, manage, and optimize databases such as MySQL and MongoDB. Ensure data integrity and implement best practices for database scaling and performance optimization.

Cybersecurity: Take an active role in identifying and addressing security vulnerabilities. Collaborate with the IT team to implement appropriate cybersecurity measures and perform regular vulnerability assessments and risk management.

Collaboration & Communication: Effectively communicate within the IT team, ensuring that improvements to the DevOps pipeline, deployment processes, and back-end support are well-coordinated and implemented. Participate in regular sprint meetings and provide status updates.

Continuous Learning & Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices. Participate in quarterly evaluations and provide feedback on your progress.

Minimum Requirements:

• 3-5 years of professional experience in back-end development
• Strong experience with PHP, preferably with Laravel or Lumen frameworks
• Proficiency in Python for backend scripting and development
• Experience with database management and optimization using MongoDB and MySQL
• Hands-on experience with Git version control and collaboration in a team environment
• Knowledge of API integration (REST/JSON) and handling HTTP requests
• Familiarity with back-end development standards and best practices
• Experience with cloud platforms and related services
• Ability to troubleshoot issues effectively and proactively resolve problems

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with Linux-based infrastructure and deployment environments
• Familiarity with other back-end languages such as Ruby, Perl, or Java
• Experience with open-source technologies and cloud platforms
• Working knowledge of DevOps principles, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies
• Experience working with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
