Database Specialist  

At Talisik Labs, our focus lies on crafting tools powered by generative AI. In the past year alone, we've developed a suite of groundbreaking AI applications, exemplified by the Unified Salina App. This suite encompasses a chat-with-video app, a chat-with-PDF app, and an AI assistant with memory capabilities. You'll be a key player in building and refining web applications like the V4 application. The V4 application, comprising Media Watch, Shared View, and Ad Watch, operates in harmony to deliver comprehensive media monitoring and analytics solutions, making a global impact.

As we expand into the global market, we're seeking a passionate individual with a strong background in backend technologies, a knack for problem-solving, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Database Management: Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of databases.
• Data Querying: Write and optimize basic SQL queries for data retrieval, inserts, updates, and deletions.
• Database Performance Monitoring: Assist in monitoring database performance and identifying issues related to slow queries or inefficient data storage.
• Backup and Recovery: Participate in database backup and recovery processes to ensure data integrity and availability.
• Data Security: Help ensure that data is stored securely and assist in implementing user access controls and permissions.
• Database Design: Assist senior database specialists in designing database structures based on application needs.
• Documentation: Create and maintain documentation related to database architecture, configurations, and processes.
• Data Integrity: Monitor and ensure data integrity, consistency, and reliability within the database.
• Collaborate with Developers: Work with software development teams to assist in designing and maintaining database solutions that support application functionality.

• Experience: 0-2 years of experience in database administration, management, or development.
• Database Knowledge: Basic understanding of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and non-relational databases (e.g., MongoDB).
• SQL Proficiency: Basic proficiency in writing SQL queries for data retrieval, updates, and management.
• Data Modeling: Basic understanding of data models and database design principles.
• Backup and Recovery: Familiarity with backup, recovery, and security best practices.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with developers and other team members regarding database issues and requirements.
