About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and driven Laboratory Technician to join our growing team. This role is perfect for fresh graduates eager to apply their knowledge and skills in the field of Chemistry.

What You'll Do

• Ensure that samples received by the Laboratory are properly documented.
• Perform analysis using appropriate method on samples as per required parameters.
• Ensure that analytical results are reliable and reportable.
• Ensure that analytical results are properly communicated.
• Ensure that only on-spec materials are approved for transfer to product tanks.
• Ensure that analytical instruments are properly functioning including the implementation of statistical process control (SPC) program.
• Ensure that standardized reagents are accurately prepared.
• Ensure that relevant safety practices are implemented in the laboratory.
• Ensure that wastes generated by the laboratory are properly segregated and disposed as per procedure.
• Communicates to the Lab Supervisor and Manager issues related to the Laboratory process.
• Responsible for actively participating in Food Safety Management System, promptly reporting any violations or concerns related to food safety and ensuring compliance with established procedures.
