Deskripsi Pekerjaan
- Accommodate patient’s inquiry regarding the Philhealth requirements and process Philhealth claims submitted by the patients after evaluation and review of documents and requirements needed.
- Arrange Philhealth claims according to discharge date to facilitate processing according to date of discharge and to ensure that claims are filed or submitted before 60 days upon discharge of the patient.
- Segregate Philhealth claims with corresponding attachment like official receipts, medicine and X-ray, Laboratory and Other charges (XLO), Obstetrical Record, Operative Record if any.
- Segregate Claim Form I from Form II and distributes the latter to the respective doctor’s clinic for signing.
- Checks Philhealth claims, codes diseases according to ICD-10 classification.
- Encodes and sorts claims as to fee for service scheme and case rate package and prepares transmittal letter.
- Prepare Monthly Mandatory Hospital Report (MMHR).
- Monitors census every month for top 10 diseases, surgical and obstetrical
- procedures, mortality census of all cases and transfer patients or referrals.
- Coordinate with Medical records Staff for mortality rate, procedures done outside the hospital and transfer patients to other hospital.
- Finalize report by counting and posting to designate MMHR form and submits the report on or before every 10th day of the following month.
- Post payments of PHIC to individual patient’s ledgers through the hospital information system. Ensures that all payments are properly posted and reviewed for fast and easy accessibility and inquiry.
- Segregate ledgers of patients with overpayment, underpayment, unpaid and fully paid. Patient’s ledgers with underpayment are forwarded to Accounts Receivable Clerk for collection. Patients with overpayment are notified through mail.
- Prepares request for payment form for patients with Philhealth overpayment or refund.

- Education
- Holder of Bachelors degree in any Business or related course
- Experience
- Minimum of 1-year relevant experience
- Skills
- Have good interpersonal and communication skills,
- A strong eye for details and background in mathematics
- Good organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
- Must be a team player and should be self-motivated.
- Should have excellent computer skills.
- Ability to handle stressful situation

For 68 years, Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital Manila (OLLH) has been one of the country’s top medical institutions. In 2010, the Servarum Spiritus Sancti (SSpS) entered into a 20-year lease with East Manila Hospital Managers Corp. (EMHMC), a subsidiary of Metro Pacific Investments Corp. Since then, EMHMC has achieved and expanded to becoming a tertiary hospital with 182-bed capacity, equipped with the latest medical technology, and the honor of being PhilHealth’s Center of Excellence in Healthcare.
In 2015, EMHMC’s 5th Anniversary, OLLH – EMHMC simultaneously unveiled and launched its newest hospital wings and patient centers to cater to the needs of the growing number of patients.
Specialized wings were built and redesigned for quick recovery with the hospital’s new St. Martin Pediatric Wing, St. Jude Internal Medicine Wing, St. Therese Maternity Wing, St. Anthony Medical Wing, and St. Vincent Surgical Wing. The Hemodialysis Center was also launched with a 27-seater treatment facility, equipped with the most advanced technology, boasting the newest hemodialysis machines and on-line hemodiafiltration machines, operating with double-pass reverse osmosis, passing the standards of the Department of Health. While the Oncology and Hematology Unit
were rebuilt to give its patients a more vibrant and cozier feel as they undergo treatments.
