Research & Devt. Officer  

As an Research & Devt. Officer, he/she shall do the following duties and responsibilities:

• Conducting trial monitoring, performing data collection, analyzing and evaluating test and trial/research results.
• Evaluating, and refining research strategies and approaches including recommendation for improvements, testing, customizing, and implementing new methods and procedures, alternative raw materials for upgrading or updating, and conducting validation and shelf life procedures.
• Prepare samples for client requests and participate in product development.
• RND Officer shall be responsible for documenting ingredient/raw material sourcing/evaluation, initial production runs, internal sensory evaluation of products and final product launch implementation while team members from Processing and Packaging will provide inputs during the product development process.
• Establish and maintain all test reports, records, and quality documents.
• Responsible for identifying and applying the most appropriate approach and/or technology to achieve the desired results within the desired time frame to secure the targeted launch date.
• Recommends product usage information including serving suggestions, cooking instructions, nutritional information and possible product claims.
• Proposing techniques to improve research quality and team productivity.
• Coordinates with Production and Quality Assurance for development of products.
• Responsible for collecting all information/data prior Product Launching to all concerned departments (internal and external).
• Other duties as required.

• Bachelor's degree in Food Technology or a related field.
• Experience in the food manufacturing industry.
• Knowledge of Food Safety System Certification or International standards is an advantage.
  
• Detail Oriented
