Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Associate to join our team. The candidate will support day-to-day accounting operations of the company, such as payables, disbursements, processing of tax matters, audit of company documents, as well as maintenance and monitoring of company forms and office supplies. This individual will work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with internal controls.
Key responsibilities include:
- General Ledger Management: Assist in maintaining the general ledger by posting journal entries and reconciling accounts.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process vendor invoices, ensure timely payments, and reconcile accounts receivable balances.
- Bank Reconciliations: Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing monthly financial statements, variance analyses, and other financial reports.
- Expense Tracking: Monitor and track employee expenses and process reimbursements.
- Compliance & Audits: Support internal audits and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Data Entry & Documentation: Accurately input financial data into accounting systems and maintain organized records.
- Assist in Month-End Close: Contribute to the month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparing journal entries and reviewing financial data for accuracy.
- Tax Preparation Support: Provide assistance in preparing and organizing documents for tax filings.
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work with various departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and resolve any discrepancies.
Kualifikasi Minimum
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: 1-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or public accounting environment and with knowledge of government requirements.
- Software Proficiency: Familiarity with accounting software or Erp systems (Sap preferred) and proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, Vlookups, etc.).
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Organization: Strong motivation and ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy.
- Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
