Quality Assurance Security Tester  

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Quality Assurance - Security Tester to join our team. This is a junior-level role designed for professionals with 1–2 years of experience. The role primarily focuses on Quality Assurance (QA) with a specific emphasis on security testing within the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). The ideal candidate will ensure our applications and infrastructure meet security standards by following a structured security testing checklist.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct security testing as part of the SDLC for applications, infrastructure, and related components.
• Work closely with QA and development teams to identify, document, and verify security vulnerabilities and defects.
• Perform functional, integration, and system-level testing with a focus on security aspects.
• Follow and maintain a security testing checklist to ensure consistent and comprehensive testing coverage.
• Analyze test results, identify potential security risks, and report findings to relevant stakeholders.
• Collaborate with developers and IT teams to resolve security-related issues.
• Contribute to improving testing processes and documenting testing procedures.

• 1–2 years of experience in Quality Assurance, software testing, or security testing.
• Understanding of basic security principles and common vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top 10).
• Familiarity with the SDLC and its integration with security testing.
• Experience in using testing tools for applications and infrastructure (optional but a plus).
• Ability to follow and adhere to predefined testing checklists and procedures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills for reporting and collaboration.
