Key Responsibilities:
Payroll Processing:
- Assist in the end-to-end payroll process, including calculating salaries, benefits, deductions, and taxes.
- Ensure accurate computation of overtime, holiday pay, and other compensation components.
Data Management:
- Maintain and update employee records in the payroll system, including new hires, terminations, and changes in salary or benefits.
- Reconcile payroll data to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies.
- Prepare and file mandatory government reports, such as tax filings, social security, and other statutory contributions.
- Generate detailed payroll reports for management and audits.
Employee Support:
- Respond to employee inquiries about salaries, deductions, and payroll-related matters.
- Assist employees in understanding their payslips and resolving discrepancies or concerns.
Coordination with Departments:
- Work closely with the Benefits Section to ensure accuracy in employee data and leave records.
- Coordinate with the Finance team to reconcile payroll accounts and fund allocation.
Audit and Record-Keeping:
- Maintain organized and secure payroll files and documentation.
- Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.
Year-End Activities:
- Support year-end payroll processes, including tax summaries and issuance of annual employee compensation reports (e.g., W2, 2316).
- Performs other tasks as may be assigned from time to time
Kualifikasi Minimum
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Financial Management, Accounting, or a related field.
Experience: At least 1 year of experience in payroll or a related role. Fresh graduates with relevant internships are also encouraged to apply.
Skills:
- Proficiency in payroll systems and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
