Global Team

Quipper currently has bases in London, Tokyo, Manila, Jakarta, and Mexico City, and is expanding to more markets this year. Our members located across the world work asynchronously on a daily basis using online tools such as GitHub and Slack. We also place importance on connecting employees via face-to-face communications by visits to local offices, and through company-wide meetings via telecon.

Agile Product Development Focused on Users

In product development, we think it's important to continually improve our services by observing user reactions and making small modifications. Not only the business development officers but our product managers, engineers, and designers also visit schools around the world to listen to the voices of students and teachers, seeking for a globally adaptable UI, and a UX that works in any internet environment. Members across different teams share knowledge and data, discuss, and review our products to deliver effective and enjoyable learning to our users around the world.

Job Description

We are looking for product managers who are capable of driving development projects of an E-learning platform. Quipper's services are used by more than 3 million users world wide. As member of the development team, product managers will focus on working with engineers and designers, while collaborating with sales and marketing team members, to create new features and make dynamic enhancements on our web and mobile apps.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drive product developments from strategic planning to tactical activities.
• Identify market requirements and specifications for current and future products by communicating with marketing and sales teams, and by on-going visits to customers, diving into user’s data.
• Create project plans and workflow, and drive them across development teams (primarily Development, Engineering, Designers, and Marketing Communications) through market requirements and positioning.
• Develop and implement company-wide go-to-market plans, working with all areas in Quipper to execute.

MUST

• Empathy with our mission “Distributors of Wisdom” and “Revolutionizing Distribution of Knowledge”, and for our style of product development.
• 3+ years of experience in internet service product management.
• Interest in exploring new internet services, technology and design.
• Ability to write simple wireframes with specifications.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English to drive product developments.
