Deskripsi Pekerjaan
Primarily responsible for the preparation of the assigned business units’ tax returns and timely submission for review and eventual filing with the BIR (Quarterly and Annual Income Tax, Monthly and Quarterly VAT, Monthly and Quarterly Expanded and Final Withholding Tax, Monthly Documentary Stamps Tax);
Monitoring of filing of the assigned business units’ Withholding Tax on Compensation Returns;
Prepares and/or reviews the attachments to the tax returns, as applicable, and submission of the same (includes but not limited to related summary lists, alphalists, 2307 certificates, 2306 certificates, etc);
Assists in the preparation and/or review of eSales Reports relative to the POS machines of the stores of the assigned business units and eventual submission of the same in the BIR e-Sales System;
Assist in new registration or update of registration of Head Office and stores/branches of assigned business units;
Assist in renewal of various BIR permits (primarily includes but not limited to Authority to Print, Permit to Use POS Machines, CAS permit, etc);
Collating of documents and preparation of self-assessment and/or supporting, reconciliation, and other schedules, as needed, for BIR Audits;
Assisting in resolving any tax and/or BIR issues as escalated from other Departments and from stores of the assigned business units;
Preparation of replies and the necessary documents and/or supporting schedules to various BIR notices other than BIR audits (e.g. Tax Mapping violation notices, Notice of Non-filings or Non-submissions, etc.);
Responsible in assisting the Tax Manager in the maintenance of a centralized monitoring of all local tax concerns of the assigned business units. Local tax concerns include but are not limited to:
Completeness of business permit renewal and payment;
Special business permits;
Special requirements of particular LGUs;
Real property declaration and payment status across all LGUs; and LGU Audit / Assessment.
Responsible in ensuring that all LGU Letters of Authority and/or other notices from the LGUs are forwarded and monitored by BU Tax, LTAG, and Central Finance.
To assist with other tax projects and ad hoc activities, as necessary.
Kualifikasi Minimum
Must be a graduate of B.S. Accountancy.
Certified Public Accountant is an advantage.
At least 3 years of work experience, preferably with experience in tax service line (compliance or reporting) of audit firm; experience in dealing with local government units or other government offices also preferred.
Preferred experience in retail operations, but not required.
Knowledge of BIR reporting and application requirements (priority on BIR).
Detail-oriented, organized, with good oral and written business communication skills to communicate across different levels of the organization.
Proficient in Microsoft Office – Excel, Outlook, Sharepoint.
SAP user experience preferred but not required.
Experienced in files monitoring and retention.
Knowledge of local business tax and real property tax.
