We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Technology Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our pre-sales department, providing expert technical solutions and support to our clients. This position offers the opportunity to work on challenging projects and contribute to the advancement of data center technology.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assess, gather information, and design solutions for customer requirements related to data center facility components and facility build, as outlined in pre-sales request forms.
- Prepare comprehensive data center facility BOM (bill of materials) and technical documents for the sales team, including diagrams, technical brochures, and design presentations.
- Coordinate the transition from pre-sales to implementation engineering, providing technical direction and support during installation, start-up, testing, and commissioning.
- Present data center facility product portfolio to customers and manage POC (proof of concept) and technical walkthroughs of product features.
- Establish and maintain excellent relationships with customers and partners.
- Collaborate effectively with the sales team and Converged Access Data Center Infrastructure business solutions group.
- Attend meetings, surveys, bidding conferences, and other technical events as required.
- Create Data Center Floor plans, electrical diagrams, and panel schedules using computer-aided design (CAD).
- Perform other tasks assigned by the management team
Kualifikasi Minimum
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Experience in electrical design and quantity survey/estimation
- Preferably with background in construction and data center facilities
Competency:
- Licensed electrical/mechanical engineer
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and AutoCAD (2D/3D)
- Knowledgeable in electrical/mechanical standards (Local and International)
Working Conditions:
- Must be willing to travel.
