What is a Room Attendant?
Room Attendants are a part of the hospitality industry and they have a wide range of responsibilities. Aside from acting as a housekeeper for a certain establishment, they are also in charge of welcoming guests and cleaning the hallways, lobbies, and corridors. They are also responsible for updating the inventory of cleaning supplies and replenishing them when necessary.
Job Overview
Company A is now looking to hire its next room attendant! We are looking for Room Attendants who have 1-2 years of experience and are able to multitask and maintain calm in dealing with clients and guests. The room attendant will later work on checking the area and cleaning according to cleaning standards so as to provide comfort for residents, guests, or clients.
Responsibilities and Duties

Inspect the area to ensure cleaning standards are met.

Ensure efficient use of supplies and equipment.

Manage, train, and recruit housekeeping team members.

Assist in the laundry and uniform area if needed.

Maintain a clean, safe and orderly condition.

Ensure all safety policies and procedures are strictly adhered to.

Make sure bowls, sinks, walls, pipes are exposed, etc. cleaned.

Report necessary repairs of unsafe conditions to the manager.

Respond to and handle guest problems and complaints effectively.

Interact with guests to solve problems and ensure satisfaction.

Fixed housekeeping issues in the unit prior to guest arrival.
Minimum Qualifications

Have 1-2 years of experience in a housekeeping position or similar.

Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Able to multi-task and maintain calm during interactions with clients and guests.

Paying attention to detail and ensuring the work area is sanitized, and scrubbed. and polished.

Leadership skills and professionalism.
