Water Treatment Plant Facility Manager  

Job Summary

The Water Treatment Plant Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance of water treatment plants in compliance with Philippine water quality and safety standards. They ensure the uninterrupted supply of clean and safe drinking water to the public and manage a team of technicians.

Responsbilities:

• Responsible for plant maintenance including facilities, utilities, to reduce
• downtime and assure peak plant efficiencies.
• Develop and implement a preventive and corrective maintenance program to keep equipment and infrastructure in excellent condition.
• Manage maintenance schedules, including regular inspections, repairs, and equipment upgrades.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations during maintenance activities.
• Lead, train, and supervise a team of technicians and support staff.
• Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement within the maintenance department.
• Lead, mentor, engage and develop teams to maximize their contributions including training, coaching and managing performance.
• Develop and manage the maintenance budget, controlling costs and allocating resources efficiently.
• Identify cost saving opportunities while maintaining high quality service.
• Develop and implement emergency response plans to address potential plant failures or water quality issues.
• Coordinate with relevant authorities during emergencies and ensure public
• safety.
• Maintain comprehensive records of plant maintenance activities and equipment performance.
• Prepare and submit reports to the management as required.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably Mechanical/Electrical/ Industrial, or equivalent industry experience.
• Must be a license engineer.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in the field or in a relate area.
• Must have at least 5 years of experience in a management role.
