The position holder is responsible for supporting the Business Development Team in originating, evaluating, selecting, due diligence, financial and valuation analysis, risk management, negotiating and closing of strategic partnerships and acquisitions with particular focus on expanding ARI’s renewable energy portfolio in the Philippines and finding new markets for the business.
Outcomes Expected and Responsibilities:
- Conducts research to help identify development and acquisition opportunities for RE projects and new tech projects within the Philippines, which includes the use of new tech to solve existing problems or use of existing tech in a new way to address emerging industry needs
- Identifies development and acquisition opportunities from all sources (this may include public offerings, information from news media and trade publications, leads from consultants and advisors, and relationships) through constant networking.
- Assists the team in producing and reviewing financial models and valuation methods, and maintains document information as a reference for structuring deals.
- Completes financial analysis, valuation, due diligence, business case, and transaction execution process (including drafting and negotiation of definitive documents) within budget
- Manages internal and external resources to assist in evaluating transactions or projects
- Monitors, controls, and prepares reports on risk and opportunities

Minimum Qualifications
- 7 years of related experience in power marketing, business development and project development, project finance, economic analysis, or business management
- 4 years of experience directly managing teams
- 3 years of experience within the power industry in business development, project delivery, or marketing
- Knowledge on energy regulations
- Bachelor's Degree in any 4 -year related course (Business, Accounting, Management, Engineering)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge on emerging power technologies (not required but preferred)
- Knowledge on Financial Modelling
- Knowledge on Project Management
