- This position shall be responsible for leading and managing (identifying, analyzing and evaluating) business process developments) within the Thermal Group
- Supports the establishment and implementation of Tier 2 Objectives and Strategic Initiatives as aligned with the approved Tier 1 Balanced Scorecard
- Develops and implements programs and plans to achieve desired business process maturity level in Aboitiz Power - Thermal Group according to the defined roadmap
- Leads the planning, implementation and third party accreditation of Integrated Management System (IMS) standards to ensure that the BU continues to be abreast in word class standards
- Enables the organization to understand the business process framework and approach to continuously improve the company’s PDCA cycle
- Ensures that IMS requirements are obtained and maintained by discussing with the IMS Council / concerned leaders on how to comply with the requirements and conducting IMS overview/ training to all employees
- Leads the standardization and control of documents and records by establishing and implementing process documents and participating in the development and roll-out of document and record systems, tools and templates to apply the best practices and comply with applicable standards
- Leads internal process assessment to check if the organization complies to the subscribed standards by creating annual audit plan, training auditors, conducting internal IMS audits, monitoring closure of gaps/findings and reporting audit results to top management
- Ensures compliance to applicable policies, guidelines, procedures and work instructions through team participation in process cascades, closure of gaps based on audits, and raising and action on any misalignment to concerned groups
Minimum Qualifications
- Strong analytical and planning skills;
- Good communication and presentation skills;
- Excellent problem-solving skills;
- At least 5 years experience in business process management or equivalent role; 3 years experience in Lead Auditing
- Has at least 2 years of Project Management experience, 2 years of which in a leadership role
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Accountancy, Business Administration, or any related field.
- Certification in any Performance Excellence Methodology is an advantage (e.g. Six Sigma, 5S, CIA)
- Lead Auditing Certification
- Knowledgeable on the business process management frameworks i.e. APQC, methodologies and operations. Knowledgeable on business process structure and documentation using different tools such as flowcharting, Visio, SIPOC, RACI
- Designs (in coordination with the process owner) business process maps / procedures, identify process control and linkages, anticipates process gaps and recommend improvements
- Knowledgeable on the standards that the company subscribes (and will subscribe) to particularly Integrated Management System (IMS) such as but not limited to ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 22301, ISO 55001
- Create / establish business process documents in compliance with standards. Evaluate gaps, identify and assess the different risks, propose steps and action plans to mitigate risks. Conduct IMS audit and propose corrective actions for findings
- Knowledge of a Change Management Framework (e.g. Kotter, Prosci, ADKAR, Bridge)
