The Pollution Control Officer is responsible for the implementation and compliance of the Tree Cutting Permit and Special Land-use Permit; and in the preparation and implementation of the Watershed Management and Enhancement Plan as required in the Environmental Compliance Certificate.
Minimum Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree relevant to the job is required. Preferrably Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management, Chemical Engineering, or Forestry.
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a related field is required.
- Must have a Pollution Control Officer (PCO) accreditation issued by the DENR.
- Must demonstrate experience in dealing with government agencies such as Local Government Units (LGUs), Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), and Barangay and Municipal Offices.
- Must have comprehensive understanding of environmental laws and regulations. This includes familiarity with local, national, and international environmental standards and their application in pollution control practices.
- Must be proficient in MS Office Suite - Word, Excel and Powerpoint
