Will be responsible for identifying, implementing/ coordinating the implementation, monitoring and reporting of compliance to legal and other requirements applicable to the organization to manage reputations, eliminate risks related to non-compliance and related consequences.
Compliance Management:
- Oversees compliance efforts across various areas including governance, regulations, data privacy, and corporate security.
- Develops, monitors, and reports compliance registers in collaboration with respective owners.
- Collaborates with compliance owners to develop programs for approval and implements lessons learned.
- Leads in developing compliance capability programs.
- Utilizes Compliance Management System within the group.
Stakeholder Management:
- Manages relationships with stakeholders.
Risk Management:
- Manages risks related to issues, cases, and regulatory matters.
Compliance (Data Privacy):
- Supports Data Privacy Officers in ensuring regulatory and contractual compliance.
- Assists in defining and implementing standard processes for Data Privacy.
- Reviews Privacy Impact Assessments and guides process owners on compliance.
- Acts as a subject matter expert on Data Privacy matters.
- Supports evaluation of training and audit controls for compliance.
Issuance/Legislation:
- Reviews legislative updates and attends regulatory consultations.
- Contract Management:
- Monitors and reports on contract reviews.
- Reviews contracts to ensure compliance with established criteria.
- Escalates issues as needed for further review.
- Develops capability programs for proactive issue resolution.
- Monitors contracts for expiration and recommends strategies for closure.
Litigation Management:
- Implements risk plans with legal counsel.
- Manages legal issues, including drafting letters and reviewing contracts.
- Monitors SLAs or retainers and prepares for case filings.
Operational Planning:
- Monitors and updates operating plans.
- Conducts Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and proposes action plans for performance improvement.
Performance Management:
- Manages workforce planning and individual development plans.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Engages with stakeholders.
Finance/Budget Management:
- Manages financial aspects related to compliance and other operations.
Issue Management:
- Manages various issues and escalations.
Projects/Initiative Management:
- Manages projects and initiatives within the department.
Retainer Management:
- Facilitates review, approval, and monitoring of service retainers.
Real Property Management:
- Monitors property improvements and payment of dues.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of Juris Doctor or Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- With extensive background and experience in dealing with various government agencies (i.e. power agencies, local government units, etc.)
- Knowledgeable of various power regulations and compliances
- With at least three (3) years of leadership experience
- With at least five (5) years of related work experience
- 1 vacant position available in La Trinidad, Benguet
