Infra Managed Service Engineer  

Overview:

As a Managed Service Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation and performance of our client's infrastructure. You will be responsible for managing and supporting Microsoft WPS, Collaboration Services, Azure, on-premises networks, and SQL and Oracle databases.

Responsibilities:

1. Infrastructure Management:
   1. Monitor and manage the performance of Microsoft WPS, Collaboration Services (MS Teams, MS Exchange, OneDrive), Azure, on-premises networks, SQL, and Oracle databases.
   2. Proactively identify and resolve potential issues to maintain optimal system performance.
   3. Implement and maintain best practices for infrastructure management, including security, backup, and disaster recovery.
      
2. Problem Resolution:
   1. Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues related to Microsoft WPS, Collaboration Services, Azure, on-premises networks, SQL, and Oracle databases.
   2. Provide timely and effective solutions to ensure minimal downtime and disruption to business operations.
      
3. Service Desk Support:
   1. Respond to end-user inquiries and support requests related to Microsoft WPS, Collaboration Services, Azure, on-premises networks, SQL, and Oracle databases.
   2. Provide clear and concise explanations of technical concepts to non-technical users.
      
4. Project Implementation:
   1. Assist in the implementation of new infrastructure components or upgrades.
   2. Configure and test new systems to ensure compatibility and performance.
      
5. Documentation:
   1. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for infrastructure components and processes.
   2. Create knowledge base articles and procedures for reference.

Qualifications:

1. Strong technical expertise in Microsoft WPS, Collaboration Services (MS Teams, MS Exchange, OneDrive), Azure, on-premises networks, SQL, and Oracle databases.
2. Experience with infrastructure monitoring and management tools.
3. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6. Experience with ITIL or other service management frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Certifications in Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, or related technologies.
2. Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
3. Knowledge of IT security best practices.
