Senior System Administrator Hybrid Set Up

Your Role:

Successful candidate will responsible for managing the company’s hybrid server/storage infrastructure and will be working closely with Pune and US team members for projects and implementations.

What you will do:

· Server Operations Management

o Solid expertise in managing large scale enterprise server infrastructure using Windows-based operating systems in a 24x7 mission critical production environments

o Assists in administering all hardware and software systems

o Ensure that change management procedures are followed at all times

o Perform regular server/software maintenance and upgrades

o Ensure that hardware/software performance meet service level targets

· Problem Management

o Ensure efficient and timely resolution (isolation and analysis, management and coordination, 3rd party escalation …etc.) of server problems and outages

o Coordinate with internal/external vendors and clients following the documented escalation processes

o Act as a point of escalation for System Engineers and must be able to provide direction on how to resolve Server/Storage issues and concerns.

o Proactively monitor service requests from production and assists in managing concerns of the team.

· Resource Planning and Management

o Monitor and generate reports of current systems utilization

o Ensure that server hardware and software systems are capable of handling current utilization and projected growth

o Design, recommend and implement improvements to the existing infrastructure.

· Systems Security Management

o Evaluate and implement server security tools and processes

o Monitor, report and prevent security breaches

o Ensure that company’s systems are logically and physically sound to withstand current and all security threats

• Qualifications:

  · BS Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or any related computer course graduate.

  · At least 3 years of hand-on experience on the following:

  o Active Directory Administration o Group Policies and OUs

  o Windows Servers/Services

  o ZScaler administration or equivalent (minimum 3 years)

  o Crowdstrike Administration or equivalent (minimum 3 years)

  o Google Workspace Administration (minimum 3 years)

  · project management experience in rolling out IT projects is an advantage.

  · Willing to work on shifting schedule including weekends and holidays

  · Fast learning and well-developed analytical thinking, design thinking and problem-solving skill

  · Experience in an organization with ISO 9001 and 27001 certification is an advantage

  · Excellent written and oral English communications skills
