The Job at a Glance
We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Program Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in ensuring Ansible Health's adherence to healthcare regulations and industry standards while supporting our mission to revolutionize respiratory care. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in healthcare compliance, coupled with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
Responsibilities
- Handle US annual reporting and ensure timely and accurate submissions.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Provide expert guidance on tax compliance issues and interpret tax laws for stakeholders across the organization.
- Develop and implement tax-related policies and procedures to ensure ongoing compliance with changing tax laws.
- Prepare and present tax compliance reports and insights to senior management.
- Address and resolve any tax-related issues, discrepancies, or audits from tax authorities.
- Lead tax planning initiatives to minimize tax liabilities while ensuring full compliance.
- May change to various programs if the organization's tax compliance is up-to-date.
Education
Bachelor's degree in any relevant field.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field of Finance or Accounting; Master’s degree in Taxation or Accounting is preferred but - not required.
- Proven experience in US tax compliance, accounting, and multi-state regulations is a must.
- Strong understanding of U.S. annual reporting requirements.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, for collaborating with internal teams and external vendors and stakeholders.
- Technologically savvy, with advanced proficiency in Google Workspace and tax softwares.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and the initiative to drive tax compliance strategies.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Background in a startup company is a plus.
- Knowledge of the U.S. healthcare system is a plus.
Job Details
Full-time: 40 hours a week
Benefits: Flexible PTO and healthcare benefits.
Level: Mid-Career, 3-5 years relevant work experience
Location: Remote (offshore, and willing to work Pacific/Eastern hours)

4. Identify a state where Google LLC is not currently registered as a foreign entity. Provide evidence to support this (e.g., a screenshot or detailed description of your search process and results).
5. For California, determine:
a) The exact title of the document Google LLC would need to file for foreign qualification
b) The current filing fee for this document
c) The URL where you found this information
