Job Description
- Preparing various types of sushi dishes according to established guidelines on quality, portion size, presentation, and food safety.
- Creating a rich sushi menu with various main ingredients and raw fish (i.e. salmon, tuna, unagi)
- Preparing all types of sushi, including maki, nigiri and sashimi
- Selecting fresh fruits and vegetables to make high-quality dishes
- Regularly taking inventory of food supplies and other products.
- Ensures adherence to highest quality food preparation and hygiene standards
- Perform other task/s assigned by the Management.
Minimum Qualifications
- Proven experience working in upscale sushi restaurants.
- Knowledge of traditional Japanese cuisine and sushi rolling techniques
- Sound knowledge of food safety regulations.
- Can work under pressure.
- Excellent time-management skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
